Does putting a quote from a movie or somewhere that u haven't sourced include as a copywrite violation????

Cuz i'm working on a wallpaper full of quotes and I'd get shitty if I bothered putting it up and they just took it off...

~Brittle-Bullet suggested I should join since a few of my pieces have been removed due to "copyright violation". It sucks because I modified the material myself to create my own image, but some nob reported it and had it removed.

Just a question: What do you guys do about it? besides being against the copyright BS?

Just letting you know i'm trying to get on of my "copyright violation" deviations re-assessed. I've gotten a message saying they've passed it onto some committee or something.

They got back to me really quickly.

And explained pretty fairly why they weren't allowing my wallpaper. They said that even though it was altered, it was still primarily a screencapture from "Fight Club", which is pretty true. Oh well, they've inspired me to do some anti-copyright art.
